Born in British Columbia, Canada and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area, Shannon Millard has been playing drums since the early age of 10. Growing up in a musical family, Shannon was always surrounded by different forms of music. Her aunt was a big band singer with various bands where she later met Shannon’s uncle, a jazz accordion player. Shannon would sit and listen for hours her cousin playing the drums long before she started playing. Her mom played piano and her brother and sisters all played various instruments growing up. Shannon’s parents also exposed her to a wealth of music as a child, all of which influenced her musical development.
dream of playing the greatest songs ever written,
seeing the crowd going crazy , selling
and touring the world. We're doing

we're living our dreams. We get to do what we like to do. We have a
good time, the crowd has a good time. That's what matters."
